Parker 89 “The 2007 Munsterer Kapellenberg Riesling Kabinett reflects some additional parcels the Rumpfs have acquired in this vineyard from a vintner forced to retire due to health problems – some of these abutting Dautenpflanzer – and which might in time inform a Grosses Gewachs bottling. Redolent of pear, lime, sage, and eucalyptus, this comes to the palate overtly sweet, yet cooling; refreshing, yet soothing; and finishes with invigorating nips of citrus zest, pungent herbs, and fresh ginger. It should prove delightful for a decade or more.”
