Decero wines are grown at an altitude of 3500 feet in the highlands of Argentina. They are very meticulous in both growing and production and their winemaker Marcos Fernandez is complemented by their consultant, Paul Hobbs.
The Remolinos Vineyards received their name from the tiny whirlwinds that are kicked up in the vineyards. This keeps the grapes in perfect condition throughout the growing season.

Tanzer 88 ” Bright medium red-ruby. Varietally accurate aromas of cherry, cassis, tobacco and licorice are lifted by a floral topnote. Supple, vinous and suave, with good lift to the red fruit and spicy oak flavors. Not especially complex but nicely balanced and fresh. Finishes with smooth tannins and suggestions of medicinal cherry and mint. ”

WS 89 “Ripe and flattering, with a lush mix of fig, mulled blueberry and blackberry fruit laced with notes of mesquite and spice that help keep it defined through the rounded, full-bodied finish. Drink now. 7,500 cases imported.”
