Parker 88 “The 2008 Soave Pieropan comes across as somewhat linear in this vintage, with subtle notes of smoke, flowers, crushed rocks, minerals and apricots that inform the medium-bodied style. Pieropan’s wines have proven to age quite nicely, but this entry-level Soave is bottled under screwcap, so I wouldn’t push my luck more than a few years at the most. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2011. ”
