This weekend we are featuring three exceptional wines from the 2009 vintage in Burgundy. Hands down, these are our favorite we have tasted in the under $30 range.
Joseph Drouhin
Laforet 2009
Pinot Noir
$14.99
Burghound 86 “A ripe, pretty and attractively complex nose features red berry fruit and cassis aromas that are in keeping with the rich, round and delicious flavors that possess unusually good volume at this level. A fine if not truly exceptional Bourgogne.”
Domaine Moillard
Bourgogne 2009
Hautes Cotes de Nuits
$23.99
No reviews for this wine but when Amber, Michelle and I tasted this at a lineup of 2009 Burgundy it blew us away. We were still talking about days later. At this price, I recommend buying this by the case!
J. Cacheux
Bourgogne
Les Champs d’Argent
$29.99
Robust, rich in color and beaming. A substantial palate that is subtle, fine and beautifully balanced. Alluring quality for a minor appellation. They keep the yields very low with quantity comparable to Grand Cru yields.
We have plenty of stock on all of these wines.
