2009 was an astounding vintage and this Canaliccohio Rosso di Montalcino is a prime example.  Beautiful cherry and rose aromas that are underscored by leather and mushroom.  The mouth is medium-bodied with that is long and lush with strong raspberry and strawberry flavors.  A very impressive wine.
