For lack of a better term, I am declaring the Saturday Specials as ‘Tasty Goodness’. Grab a couple of bottles and find out for yourself.
We would love to know what a “Real Cracker” is….
Kumeu River
Vilage 2008
New Zealand
$17.99
Parker 89 “Kumeu River’s 2008 Village Chardonnay is a real cracker at a bargain price. Usually coming from about 8 different sites, around a third of the production is barrel fermented while the other 2/3s are tank fermented. This wine gives intense pineapple and apricot aromas with some cream and toast plus a touch of meal. Crisp, medium bodied, there’s good concentration and texture here with a long finish. Delicious now, it should drink nicely through 2014.”
Marc Colin 2005
Chassagne-Montrachet
Vieilles Vignes
$46.99
This medium-bodied wine is well structured and delicious. It is a very pretty Chassagne-Montrachet that is ripe with red berries and a classic earthiness.
Stop by between 10-5 to take advantage of these specials.
