Brigaldara
Valpolicella Classico 2007
$14.99
Parker 89
“The 2007 Valpolicella from Brigaldara is incredibly sexy juice. Medium to full in body, this voluptuous Valpolicella offers tons of dark fruit intermingled with scents of bittersweet chocolate, leather and spices in an utterly captivating glass of wine. I can’t think of too many wines that deliver this much sheer pleasure for the tariff. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012″. Order Here

Venta Morales 2008
La Mancha, Spain
$7.99
Parker 88
“The 2008 Venta Morales is a phenomenal value. Sourced from a 32-year-old vineyard with tiny yields of two tons per acre, the wine was fermented and raised in stainless steel. It reveals a remarkably deep color for its humble price, fragrant black cherry aromas, ripe, round, savory fruit on the palate, and excellent depth and length. It over-delivers in a very big way.” Order Here

***18% off the Nottola 2004***
Nottola
Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2004
$19.99
Wine Enthusiast 88
“This is a modern, approachable Riserva with fresh tones of black cherry, currant and lingering notes of sweet spice and tobacco. The mouthfeel is simple, clean and soft; this would pair nicely with pasta, pork or veal”. Order Here

Fanti
Sant’Antimo 2007
$16.99
Parker 88
“Fanti’s 2007 Sant’Antimo Rosso (Sangiovese, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet) is once again a delicious, value-priced wine, something that isn’t easy to find in Montalcino. This soft, floral red offers plenty of dark fruit in a fresh, affable style perfect for casual drinking. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012″.Order Here

Maquis
Lien 2005
$16.99
Tanzer 90
“(38% syrah, 32% carmenere, 15% cabernet franc, 8% petit verdot and 7% malbec) Bright ruby. Seductively perfumed aromas of black raspberry and smoky Indian spices, with floral and mineral accents adding complexity. Juicy, gently sweet red berry flavors pack good punch but are fat-free and show no rough edges. Clean and focused on the finish, with the red fruit qualities repeating. Boasts excellent clarity and energy”.Order Here

Quattro Mani
Tocai 2007
Slovenia
$10.99
Parker 91
“The irrepressible, outspoken, and iconoclastic Ales Kristancic – whose advice is in great demand on both sides of the Friulian Collio-Brda(-Hills) – is the force behind Quattro Mani 2007 (toh-kai), the inaugural 36,000 bottles of which come from young vines on his Movia estate, although that name – along with the provocative description “100% Tocai,” a name since legally replaced by “Friuliano” – is buried in tiny print on the label. If there is any more amazing value in white wine, I’m desperate to experience it! Ripe quince, Persian melon, vivid gunpowder, green tea, coriander, spearmint, and elusive but haunting floral perfume hover over the glass. This hits the palate juicily, softly, and demurely, but then it spreads out a veritable magic carpet of captivating flavors, among which quince, fig, white peach, green tea, sweet lime, and raw almond are discernable. But frankly, you could play guessing games all the way through a bottle – which might not last as long as the urge to meditate, thanks to its soothing texture and infectiously juicy finish. I honestly couldn’t spit it or put down the glass! My intuition is that one should drink it within the next 6-9 months, especially since it is sealed with a silicone stopper. I just hope something remotely as intriguing and delicious was rendered under this label from 2008.”Order Here

2005 Bruno Colin
Chassagne-Montrachet
“Les Chenevottes”
Premier Cru
$75.99
Burghound 90
“This is definitely more refined with a nose of pain grillé and rosemary oil that complements well the rich yet precise and detailed middle weight flavors that possess a really lovely sense of underlying tension and very good if not truly exceptional complexity, all wrapped in a finish brimming with dry extract.”
Tanzer 89 “Reticent but pure aromas of lemon, flowers and herbs. Juicy and fresh, with a subtle sweetness to the flavors of stone fruits and flowers. No shortage of acidity here. Finishes with good length, cut and floral lift.”Order Here

Celler Can Blau
Can Blau 2007
$16.99
Parker 90+
“The 2007 Can Blau is purple-colored with a nose of cedar, mineral, baking spices, blueberry, and black cherry. This leads to a full-bodied wine with layers of flavor, enough structure to evolve for 2-3 years, and a pure, fruit-filled finish. It will be at its peak from 2010 to 2018.”Order Here
