NPR’s Marketplace ran a story yesterday about the falling Champagne market and how “cheap” Prosecco is taking it’s place. Here’s a link to this story.
I love Prosecco and think it is fabulous. My favorite is the Rustico by Nino Franco. The bubbles are tight and strong and not flabby at all – very reminiscent of Champagne.
